It is 5am herre and I have been lying in bed thinking about what God is doing in my own life and in others - such as you and Rachel. I find that our God is an awesome God! He knows us and finds the way to show each willing person just how available he is, how good he is and how nothing in this life takes him by surprise - he holds it all together in His Capable hands.
