I would eat dog…

by:John

I was thinking about this this morning–I would eat dog. For a long time, I, along with most other red-blooded Americans would cringe, or at least make a face upon hearing a story of someone, ussually in an Asian setting, eating dog. But… as I was laying in my bed this morning, listening to the rowdiness of at least a dozen dogs, all barking and howling at the first person to venture out into the dark morning, and as I thought of how they had done the same thing morning after morning, I realized how easy it would be to not only eat the dog, but to kill it myself as well. Whoa, that was seriously violent eh?

These are some Indian dogs, just chillin. Why can’t they sleep at night!

Don’t get too worried though, I am not really thinking about ending the life of any of these animals over here. In fact, if I could I would adopt one of these dogs. It’s not very practical right now though, not to mention that many of these dogs are obviously diseased. I feel pretty bad for them actually. And, they just roam around all day, picking through the trash. There are bunches of them, and they are really harmless, and soundless durring the day. But then at night, one will start barking at a late night passerby and then they all join in. But the real chorus begins somewhere between 4-6am. Then, is when it seems that all of the dogs in the vicinity join together to wake up all those humans who walk by them so non-chalantly durring the day with no care to throw a bone, or anything.
Well… I suppse they’re suffering worse than I. And, in fact, that’s true of so many here in India. God, bless em.

    John,

If you eat a dog, I won’t think the less of you. Just be sure to send some jerky back this way.
