We have an internship goal.

Hello my brothers and sisters,

Hyderabad map
The red dot in the southern central region is Hyderabad, where we hope to go for internship.

For the latest info check out the updates category
We are stoked about being in Hyderabad for our internship, working side by side with veteran missionaries, learning a new culture, new food, new friends, and new opportunities to see God’s faithfulness in action! We are really looking forward to this. Here’s some of the stuff they told us we’ll be doing there:

  • Involvement in Evangelism through media (working w/ producers)
  • Reaching out to villages through assisting in medical camps
  • Boring wells
  • Involvement in Slum literacy programs
  • HIV projects.
  • Showings of the Jesus film
  • It’s a very exciting work there in Hyderabad with Operation Blessing . We are excited about being able to work with the down trodden and the poor but that’s not the only blessing. It’s also an amazing blessing that we will have the privelege of working with a couple that is so esteemed amongst the people of God. We know there will be challenges but, God’s grace will remain strong and true.
In case you aren’t sure what this internship is all about, This is a required part of the 4yr degree program that I am in at Bethany College of Missions. Every student does a one year internship overseas.
There is lot’s of info about this trip on our site right now so, please check out some of the following links.

We have chosen an Internship location

I want to let you know (although some of you already do know) of how our internship plans came to be. Rachel and I have been seeking the Lord about His will for our internship. I was really wondering if everything would work out well with our previous internship plans in Varanasi with Prodigal Project. Some of the questions that came up were: How would it work in the “off-season” for ministry to travellers. Also, With Ute (our potential leader) going on furlough, what would that look like for us. These ‘wrinkles’ could have been ironed out easily enough. However, they were real enough issues that it forced us to really pray. I came to a point where I told the Lord, “God, if you want.. I will skip internship all together.” I laid it all down, and was willing to just get a job here if that is what he wanted.

Right about that time, I heard of a couple that is working in Hyderbad doing relief work. They really wanted some iterns to come to them, and they are very well known at our school. I had laid my intern plans on the altar and so, I was willing to hear about this option. The more I heard about the couple, their work, and the internship possibility, the more we thought that this could be the Lord. As time has progressed, and we’ve continue to consider all the options, this stands above all other options as the path to pursue.
We have heard so many great things about this couple. They come very highly recommended around here. I have heard them described, from three different sources as “Top notch people”.

Please do keep us in your prayers ok.. much love to all of you,
    John, Rachel and Aria Clancy
