Internship… Here we come.

by:John

Hi,
It looks like it’s another change of season for John & Rachel Clancy again. Only this time, we have little Aria with us as well. Aria, daughter of John and Rachel ClancyYes, over this last season here at Bethany College of Missions, we have been growing and being stretched in so many ways. Life in the dorms with a young one has been really great and also posed many challenges. And, of course continuing to cultivate a healthy marriage relationship and yet keep up with school work has also been fun. But, I have really been so encouraged about what God is doing in our family.

The recent discussions that I have had with Rachel about internship have really been rewarding too. She really seems to be genuinely excited as the plans come together and we are both looking forward to it. So what are we doing?

John and Rachel Clancy are hoping to go to Varanasi
Varanasi: on the Ganges

Well, it’s still up in the air. We were really hoping to go to Varanasi, India with Prodigal Project. But, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we will be able to go under that leadership structure. However, we may still be able to go to the same place and work with the same people under the leadership or the local YWAM base. We are not sure yet though how all of this will play out.
We are supposed to be leaving in January, so please pray for us as we are trying to figure out the details.

We do need your prayers!
Please pray for us

Speaking of Prayer here are some points to pray about:

  • God’s will for our internship
  • His resourcing of our trip
  • Rachel’s and Aria’s health as they figure out nursing together. :)
  • Well thanks alot and may God richly bless all of you!
