John Leo Clancy III

An American boy who loves Jesus. New to being a husband and a dad, he enjoys the delights and challenges that come along with the family life. He gets excited about visiting new places, eating new food, and experiencing different cultures. Also passionate about philosophy and debate, he is a conversationalist. Among the prominent authors on his book shelf are John Piper, C.S. Lewis and other classics. However, he admits that he doesn’t read as much as he’d like due to the prominence of his social nature and a slight addiction to web developing and other techy stuff.
He is grateful for what God has given him and looks to the future with expectation of the blessings to come!

Rachel Frances Clancy (neé Goff)

A Canadian who loves trees, does what she can for the environment, and would live in a forest community in a tree house if given the right opportunity. Would choose community living over having her own bathroom. Wants to live in Bellingham, WA one day. Enjoys reading books, especially by George Macdonald, Madeleine L’Engle, Beatrix Potter, L.M. Montgomery and C.S. Lewis, and is usually reading more than one at a time. Her biggest passion is writing; however, she dabbles in many different artistic venues. Is fond of solitude, yet enjoys sharing a cup of tea with friends. Sings and dances for her baby girl. Has lived in five countries and three continents. Blames her gypsy blood for all the travelling she’s done.

Aria Beth Clancy

Someone who knows what she wants. Likes taking naps with Mr. Bear. Enjoys the flavour of books. Gives her toys kisses. Endures having her cheeks pinched by strangers. Will not let them tell her not to suck her thumb. Likes mama’s milk more than anything. Wants to eat everyone’s food. Is intense about playing. Curious about everything. Slept the entire journey across the Atlantic.


Mr. Bear
interesting tidbits
Aria’s knight in shining (furry) armor. Has a supernatural dose of patience. Loves kisses on the mouth, ears, paws and any other place his best friend, Aria will dish out. Doesn’t complain about anything including vigorous hugs. Guards Aria while she sleeps and wards off mosquitos while she plays. So concerned about Aria’s sleep that he shelters her eyes from any wayward rays of light. What a great catch!
